Overview
❄️ Renowned Powder Snow
Akakura is located in one of Japan’s heaviest snowfall areas and is famous for its world-class powder snow. The consistently light and fluffy conditions are highly praised by skiers and snowboarders, especially those who love off-piste and freeride experiences.
🍴 Dining & More
In recent years, more resort-style dining options have opened, offering a greater variety of meals. Guests can enjoy casual restaurants and cafés on and around the slopes, as well as newly opened venues for fine evening dining.
The nearby Akakura Onsen town adds even more charm, with traditional hot springs alongside a vibrant music and live event scene, making après-ski in Akakura uniquely enjoyable.
In addition, our company operates a winter-only sushi restaurant, where fresh fish is directly sourced from fishermen and prepared by professional chefs. After a day of skiing or relaxing in the hot springs, please come and enjoy our handcrafted sushi.
